I just don`t get it why so many of you think that Wilson is the bad guy in this story.
I mean he is really trying to help House to get his life in control again. It does not feel right to blame Wilson for not beeing a professional dom with House if he has never been in a D/s relationship before.
A man with more experience in such a kind of relationship probably would have handeled some situations different.I agree.
BUT:
The whole scenario is new for Wilson as well as for House. Is is pretty natural for both of them to make mistakes at this early time of their new relationship.So why isn`t Wilson allowed to make his share of mistakes?
And as far as the "blackmail" argument is concerned: What other way did Wilson possibly have to make House change his attitude?
I just re-watched the Tritter arc season, and I had almost forgot, how mean Wilson has been treated by House during that time...I am pretty pissed at House right now ;-) I mean Wison has time and time again tried to support House as a friend and to make him realise that he is on a dangerous, self-destructive road.
Unfortunately, as we all know, convincing House of doing something he doen´t want to do isn´t an easy task.I can not think of any other way Wilson could have choosen to stop House´s behaviour and at the same time continue with their friendship.
And again: You can not blame Wilson for making beginners mistakes if he actually IS a beginner.
Also I want to point out another aspect: I think it is more like House- by his attitude and acts- is forcing Wilson to act as a dom, than Wilson is wanting to be one.
"So, considering that Wilson has finally taken his head out of his ass" IMHO Wilson has never had his head in his ass.He was trying to figure a way to help his best friend, even if it meant changing both of their lifes comletely.Not many people would make such a decision.
