Icon Meme :P

Okay, I've got these six icons that onceuponapillow  picked for me to talk about. Comment to this post, and i'll pick six of your icons. Then you post at your own journal and talk about those icons, and continue the icon love :P hehe

  This particular icon I saw and had to have, because it just really fits my somewhat dark, somewhat twisted sense of humor. I love things that are a little bit shocking and disturbing, but in a light-hearted way. Anybody fans of "Happy Bunny"? That's what this icon reminds me of a little bit. :P lol

I love Dexter. He's so much more than even he believes himself to be in the show, and he does indeed have many secrets... as do I. I wanted this icon because it's good to use for any posts that involve secrets, of my own personally, or in my fics, etc., and it's for one of my favorite shows, so *shrugs*... that's about it...

When I saw this icon on someone else's journal, I literally spewed my Dr. Pepper... hehehe... it just sort of caught me by surprise... which is the point... and when I saw that there were quite a few of these unexpected naked appearances for various shows, I knew I had to have the House one. It's just so perfectly randomly awesome... good for at least a giggle or two :P

Ah, good old Spike-hurt! :P hehe... I adore Spike, but sadly for him, most often when he's in pain or suffering in some way -- and we all know no one could quite bring the hurt like the Slayer he was in love with. This was one of several icons I chose because I needed them to represent my various moods/mindsets when I was posting, and it's perfectly appropriate for me and my journal, the things I write about, etc. (and also one of my favorite scenes between Spike/Buffy as well).

Hmmm... this dark humor thing seems to play a big part in my icon choices. :P hehe... I saw this one and it made me laugh, and I have no idea what show this is a quote from, but it seemed like it would fit well into the Buffy!verse... it's what it made me think of. I thought I just really wanted to have this one, figured it would make other people laugh too... and it's one of my favorites :)

I love the expression on his face here. Hugh's expressions always say so much, and this is no exception. The way he's looking at her is like... there's a little bit of amusement and interest there, but as always, he's so guarded. He's wary, like... if he lets this go any farther, he knows it's eventually going to be bad for both of them... and he's unsure of her motivations, etc... it's so complicated, and I love it.
